Who we are:

        The principal and founder of Entech is S. Fredrik Sverre, M.Sc., R.P.Bio. Mr. Sverre is a Project Manager and Senior Scientist who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Lethbridge University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, and a Master’s Degree in Ecology from Brock University, St. Catherine’s, Ontario. He has been practicing as an Environmental Consultant in the province of BC since 1973 and is one of the founding members of the Association of Professional Biologists (R.P.Bio. #2).

Jason Thompson, M.Sc., RPBio, is the manager of Aquatic Systems. Mr. Thompson has over 10 years of work and academic experience focused in the aquatic sector. He recieved a Bachelor of Science in biology from University of Victoria, a Master of Science in marine biology from University of New Brunswick and spent a summer at Duke University Marine Lab in a post-graduate program focused on marine conservation biology and policy. He is an experienced and competent field biologist who has an extensive knowledge of BC aquatic flora and fauna. In addition, he has a broad knowledge of experimental sampling, monitoring and analytical techniques. His primary focus is marine invertebrates and macrophytes. Jason’s current work focuses on environmental impact assessments for various projects.

Gordon H.J. Guy, M.Sc., GIT, obtained his Honours Bachelor of Science Degree (Geology) from Acadia University.  After receiving his own NSERC funding for graduate studies, he completed his Master of Science Degree in Earth and Ocean Sciences (Environmental Geophysics) from the University of Victoria.  Gordon has worked for the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland and has more than 3 years of environmental investigative experience in BC, where his current focus is in contaminated sites.
